The story
From the flat land
to the city lights
Wilhyme is the music of Dave Koenig, a songwriter who grew up under the big West Texas sky and now calls Fort Worth home.
The songs sit somewhere between Americana and rock: electric enough to fill a bar, honest enough for a living room. They’re about ordinary things that turn out to matter, like a day job that keeps you from the people you love, the itch to get in the car and drive, and the stubborn choice to look for the good.
For years that meant solo shows with an acoustic guitar and a loop pedal. In 2027 it means a full band, a debut EP called Stars By Moonlight and as many Texas stages as will have us.
There’s a Wilhelm behind the name, and it’s a better story told in full. Join the list and it’s the first thing you’ll get.
